Installation

Install it correctly the first time

  1. Add an antivirus exclusion first

    Servicing tools trigger heuristic detections. Exclude your intended install folder before extracting, or the loader files get quarantined and the tool fails later with vague errors.

  2. Extract to a short path

    Use something like C:\UnlockTool. Deep folders with spaces or non-English characters cause avoidable problems.

  3. Run as administrator

    Right-click the executable and choose “Run as administrator” — every time, not just the first launch. Allow it through Windows Firewall when prompted.

  4. Install the drivers

    USB, VCOM and Qualcomm 9008 drivers before you plug anything in. Most “device not detected” reports come down to this step being skipped.

  5. Log in with your account

    Sign in using the UnlockTool.net username your license was activated on. If login fails, confirm the license is active before reinstalling anything.

  6. Update before every session

    New loaders and models ship constantly. Running an outdated build against new firmware is the leading cause of failed operations.

Never download from unofficial re-uploads. Cracked or repacked builds cannot authenticate against the license server, frequently carry credential-stealing malware, and can permanently brick a device if they fail mid-flash. Verify the MD5 hash above against your download.
